22 October 1888 | A Czech Jewish woman, Anna Seidemannová, was born in Prague.
She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Theresienstadt ghetto on 26 October 1942 in a transport of 1,866 Jews. She was among 1,619 of them murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

I do think Joshua Nkomo, Toivo ya Toivo & Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe are not celebrated enough for their contributions towards the liberation movement in our SADC region. There has been - for years - a deliberate attempt to exclude these pioneers of change from the history books !!!
